Tau Society
Tau Society
The Tau Society is UM St. Joseph Medical Center's Legacy Society. The Society is named for the letter in the Greek and Hebrew alphabets, and, more importantly, a symbol which St. Francis of Assisi cherished: a symbol of genuine hope and response in trust to the faithfulness of God.
The Tau Society recognizes individuals whose faithfulness has inspired them to include contributions to the hospital in their estate plans.

An Invitation to Join the Tau Society
Through their gifts and gift commitments, Tau Society members provide an assurance that the medical center will always be capable of responding to the changing health care needs of the patients we serve. Membership is offered to all individuals, regardless of their capacity to give, who indicate that they have made a planned or deferred gift to the Foundation. Only a statement of intent to leave a gift to University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation is required; however, if you so choose, we kindly ask that you share with us your intended planned gift by filling out your Member Profile form.
